Busy day today...
We drove to the suburbs of Buffalo to visit our friends Liz, Ben, and Noah who were staying at Liz's moms house. It was really nice to catch up and spend some time at a real house with people other than ourselves. It was extra special that it was with people we like and get on well with. The kids played in the garage with toys for a while, then Liz broke out the slip and slide, hose, and kiddie pool!!
Jack and Ben had a blast, Lucca didn't quite know what to make of it. After a while the kids got hungry so we headed out to a nearby restaurant and had real, authentic buffalo wings. I even broke my blue cheese dressing boycott and gave the wings a dip. They were great! After lunch and a few more minutes at liz's we needed to get back to Lola who had been in the trailer all morning, so we said our goodbyes and headed back to camp. We might catch up with the them again in New Jersey.
Lola appreciated being let out for a while. After a quick snack, we made the quick trip to Niagara Falls. The view of the falls was impressive from the top.
Although, nothing compared to the view (and soaking) we got from the Maid of the Mist boat tour.
We almost skipped the falls entirely this trip, but I am happy we made the excursion. Especially since we got to see some friends who we haven't seen in a long time.
Ps. Lucca has been taking more and more steps today, she will be fully walking in no time.

It was great to see you guys! We all had a fun morning. Ben and Jack played so well together. I really hope that we get to met up again in NJ!

I never wanted to see falls till now...the wet tour looks awesome! Can't believe Luccas old enough to walk :(
