We woke up this morning knowing that we had a big drive in front of us. We planned a 5.5 hour drive from here to just outside of Washington DC where we plan on meeting my friend Dave who we missed on the way through the first time.
The day really turned out to be much different...overall we...
Listened to Mary Poppins once, sound of music twice.
Stopped for fast food on the turnpike twice. Lunch and dinner.
Racked up $50 in toll charges.
Got lost in downtown Baltimore.
Didn't pull in to our site until 9:46 ( they close at 10 )
This totaled almost 11 hours on the road.
The highpoint of the day was that we got to stop at our friend Liz's in New Jersey. Where Jack got to play with his friend Ben, and Lucca got to see what it was like inside a real house. I also had a chance to take Lola for a nice walk in the neighborhood. Thanks Liz for letting us stop and stretch our legs!!!
Not sure what the plan is tomorrow. There is thunder and lighting right now as I write this, with more planned tomorrow in the day. We are looking forward to seeing Dave and his family tomorrow night.
