So...Nashville. Not so much.

We got our day started here in the buckle of the bible belt like any other perfect day on the road. With a trip to Waffle House. I got my hash browns smothered, covered, and capped. Which is waffle house speak for onion, cheese, and mushrooms. Jordan got hers covered, chopped, and capped. Chopped is with ham. Today was her birthday and she could have them however she wanted...
Oh wait, that reminds me...when we first woke, jack brought her the card he had made her, the card i made, and a bouquet of ballons that were tied together with a creative twist of pipe cleaners.

After breakfast we were off for the trolley tour of Nashville. Which by the way has been the first town since leaving SB that we have been stuck in traffic. We ended up late to the trolley stop and had to wait for the next one in an hour... While waiting we tried on some cowboy boots and hats in the nearby shops.

The trolly ride was informative but I would have to say that Nashville is a boring town. Aside from the music row which was slightly interesting, moreso if you like country music, the rest of the town was not much to speak of. So I won't. Except that we went to lunch at the hard rock cafe, and had great ice cream at a little place called Mikes. The highlight of our Nashville trip was visiting the old bank now tattoo / piercing studio where Jordan got her nose pierced.

Then a little quiet time back at Mimi ( who is falling apart, by the way) watching the brave little toaster (the first movie we have watched on the road with the kids). After, we headed out in a thunder/lightning storm to a nearby mall. Jordan got her feet did, while the kids played.

We will be happy to head out of Nashville tomorrow.
