Didn't spend any time at our campsite in KS. Happy to be on the road again. There really wasn't anything to see in Kansas except for fields of corn and hay. Lola rode in the cab with us today since the temperature hit stayed 100+ most the day. After driving about 7 hours with stops for gas and food, we made it to Loveland, Co where we stopped for dinner with Grandma Kay and Grandpa Ron. They offered to keep Jack for the night so we said goodbye and headed up the canyon to Estes Park. We got to our campground at about 8 and lucked out two times. Once, by getting to stay a night extra ( we had no idea what we would do on the night of the 2nd) and twice by getting to stay in a double big site because the one that they assigned us was already occupied. We tried to watch a movie before bed but failed miserably. Too tired.
